| According to Wikipedia, the first straws were used by the Sumerians in circa 2700 B.C. to drink beer. The originals straws were made out of hallow grass, and bone. Then in 1888 Marvin C. Stone patented a more modern version of the straw made from paper and covered in wax. The straw has evolved since 1888 to now be made out of plastic, made to be crazy, to include a spoon at the end, and in 2006 the Litestraw became a patented reality. |

The Litestraw is an original twist on an old design. It is an actual drinking straw that can be used for drinking water, milk, or your favorite adult beverage. The straw offers 4 mesmerizing modes of light that can be activated by a push of the button. The first push of the button starts the first mode which is 3 modes rolled into one, first, the lights start at the bottom and light one by one to the top (all very quickly), then it changes to all the LEDs blinking at once, it changes again to the LEDs bouncing or chasing one after the other from the bottom to the top and back down again. Pushing the button a second time sets the straw on the 2nd mode, where the lights start at the bottom of the straw and light one after another to the top of the straw very quickly. The 3rd mode is the blinking mode, where all 5 LEDs blink together, on and off. The 4th push of the button starts the final light mode of the lights chasing after each other from the bottom of the straw to the top and back down again. Push the button one final time to turn it off and use it another time.
