The glowing brim on the Original Glo Hats allow the hat to be used for safety purposes, such as walking at night, or in the event of a natural disaster, or to stand out in a crowd at a concert, or becuase a glowing hat is brilliant.

The Glow Hats are battery and LED operated. The hats come with the first set of batteries installed. The batteries are replaceable and each set will last approximately 20 to 40 hours. Each hat offers 3 modes of light, much like the Litecubes, a slow blink, a faster blink, and a solid on. Made of cotton, the 6 paneled baseball style cap is very comfortable and with an adjustable velcro closure in the back will fit almost everyone.
